The 9 Best Office Brunch Spots in Soho for Work Meetings

Soho is the heart of London’s fashion scene and is always bustling with busy professionals. It’s also home to a huge selection of trendy restaurants which are open from early until late. That makes Soho a great area to grab a work meeting so you can eat some delicious dishes while making use of the time.

So, if you’re looking to catch up with a colleague while enjoying London’s best brunch, Soho is where you should head first. Below, we’ll explore nine of our best brunch spots in Soho so you can work hard while eating well.

Our picks for the best place to grab a working brunch in Soho

In the mood for a working brunch? Soho is superbly located in central London, with plenty of modern and trendy choices, making it the go-to option. Here are our picks for some of the best brunch spots in the area.

1. Dean Street Townhouse

Dean Street Townhouse is a sophisticated choice with stylish decor and a relaxing atmosphere. You’ll dine in a Georgian townhouse which is slap bang in the middle of Soho, so it’s easy to get if you’re meeting others from around the area. It offers a range of fabulous food options, with a fantastic breakfast and brunch menu that offers a variety of choices. Whether you’re looking for something on the healthier side, or you fancy something filling and comforting, you’ll find what you’re after right here.

2. Milk Beach Soho

It may only have a small breakfast and brunch offering, but boy does Milk Beach Soho do it well. It serves a sample of Aussie cuisine, which means it’s fresh, flavourful and filling. You won’t find your bacon and fried eggs here – instead, try unique dishes like the chilli scramble and coconut tapioca pudding. The banana bread is also a particularly delicious way to start the day.

The restaurant itself is bright and contemporary and is a great place to meet with colleagues and get those ideas flowing. The stunning breakfast menus are also perfect for a meeting with a client you really want to impress!

3. Scarlett Green

Trip Advisor ranks Scarlett Green as one of the top 10 restaurants in London – and for good reason. It offers a wonderfully eclectic brunch menu, with unique dishes like a fancy bacon roll (their name for it, not ours), brûlée French toast and the award-winning banana bread sandwich. If you’re feeling a little cheeky, they also have a range of delicious brunch cocktails and they make a mean bloody Mary.

Whether you have the beautiful blueberry buttermilk pancakes, smoky chorizo beans or slat beef hash, you're in for a treat! Or make your own beautiful brunch with some smoked salmon and poached eggs with some freshly squeezed orange juice on the side. It's the perfect Soho spot for a spot of Sunday brunch or a leisurely brunch meeting during the week.

4. Balans Soho No. 34

Balans Soho No. 34 is a sleek and modern restaurant with a fantastic breakfast and brunch offering, right in the hustle and bustle of Old Compton Street. You can enjoy classics like a full English and steak and eggs, as well as dishes which offer something a little different like crispy duck okonomiyaki and a breakfast burrito. It’s got a nice chilled atmosphere, which makes it ideal for a working brunch.

Whether you want a fried egg, eggs benedict or a delicious omelette, you can find it here! They also have plenty of less eggy options! Its sister restaurant, just a few doors down at No. 60, is larger than No. 34, so if you’re part of a big group looking to eat and work, then head here for the same delicious food and brilliant service.

5. Dishoom Soho

For a huge range of breakfast classics with a dash of Bombay flavour, Dishoom Soho is a fantastic place to start the day with a group of workmates. There are plenty of comfort food and healthy options, but for something a little different we recommend the naan rolls – fresh naan bread filled with your breakfast favourites, like crispy bacon or succulent sausage, then rolled up like a burrito. They’re a little messy, but oh so delicious. The restaurant also has plenty of big tables, so you and your colleagues can gather around with plenty of space to work.

6. Nessa

Within a smart and chic setting, Nessa is one of Soho’s newest brunch spots but has already made a great name for itself. It has a wide selection of brunch options, including their take on a McDonald’s McMuffin, a mixed grill breakfast (featuring bacon chop) and campfire beans. It also offers an alternative to avocado toast in the form of crushed broad beans on toast – so delicious it’s sure to be the next big thing!

The restaurant is also bright and welcoming, with some great spaces to catch up with colleagues and power on through.

7. Imad's Syrian Kitchen

When you think about brunch, you might be forgiven for not thinking about Syrian cuisine. However, Imad's Syrian Kitchen shows that it’s definitely one the best places to go in Soho if you want to start the day with a working brunch. There are dishes like Riaayiq Asal which is a pastry filled with cheeses, and Fatteh, which is flatbread with chickpeas, tahini, ghee and nuts. There are also plenty of tables and it’s bright and welcoming, so it’s great for working while you try something new.

8. The Good Egg

With an exciting and varied menu, The Good Egg has masses of choices and a great chilled atmosphere, perfect for a working brunch.

With Middle-Eastern-inspired dishes and twists on the classics, you can set your tastebuds alight as you work. The cornbread and egg is comforting and filling, and the Reuben pita is an explosion of flavour and textures. You might also go for the mezze brunch, so you and a colleague can try a range of incredible flavours.

9. Kapara

Offering dishes with fantastic Middle-Eastern flavours, Kapara has uniquely delicious dishes like salt-baked celeriac, smash and shawarma salmon, and breakfast ribs and rice. We also recommend the perfect schnitzel, which is – as the name suggests – perfect. The upstairs is bright and airy, and downstairs they offer private dining options if there’s a large group of you.

10. The Breakfast Club

Lastly, we have The Breakfast Club's "locally world-famous" breakfast menus that are fit for anyone. Fancy something a little bit healthy? The passion fruit granola and coconut yoghurt will hit the spot. Fancy something a little less healthy? The breakfast burger or greasy spoon has your name on it! Oh, and don't miss the banana french toast, it's every bit as amazing as it sounds.

From street food to fried chicken and French toast, you can find it all throughout the day at The Breakfast Club and there are as many healthy, vegan and comfort food options as you can shake a stick at.
